Pro tips for writing an email

  • Use a captivating subject line

  • Address the hiring manager by name (if possible) 

  • For your first paragraph, inform the hiring manager who you are and why you are reaching out

  • In your second paragraph, say what value you’d bring to the company

  • Close your email by saying you’re eager to meet in person

  • Don’t forget to add a professional signature with your contact info

  • Attach your CV/resume & a cover letter saved in PDF with professional file names
